The admin, sorted before a box was packed
The bit most people don’t think about until it’s too late is the paperwork. Moving belongings across an international border means customs declarations. It means ferry bookings for three vans. It means timing everything so the crossing lines up with the loading and the delivery.
Our admin team handled all of it. Ferries booked, declarations completed, schedule locked in. By the time move day arrived, the only thing the family had to think about was saying goodbye to the old place.
Three vans, six men, one big load
A full 4-bedroom house needs serious capacity. We sent three vans and a team of six to the Manchester property. Everything dismantled, wrapped, padded and loaded. Furniture went into moving blankets and was ratchet strapped so nothing could move in transit. Boxes stacked and secured. By the time the vans were closed up, the house was clear and everything was accounted for.
Across the Irish Sea overnight
The convoy drove to the port and boarded the Stena Line ferry for the crossing. The team crossed overnight with the vehicles below deck and the belongings locked in the vans throughout. A few hours on the water and Ireland was on the horizon.
Delivered and reassembled in Ireland
On the other side, the vans were unloaded at the new property and everything went in room by room. Furniture that had been dismantled in Manchester was put back together in Ireland. Beds, wardrobes, the lot. The family didn’t need to lift a finger at either end.
Storage on arrival
Some items went straight into a storage container at the destination while the property was being sorted. Everything stacked properly, nothing piled carelessly, ready to come out when the family needed it.
