This family had a deadline. Keys had to be handed in and they needed to be out on time. No room for a slow start, no room for damage and no room for any of the things that can turn a moving day sour. They booked Currans and the team got it done.
Everything wrapped before it moved
Before a single item went near the van, it was protected. Furniture went into red quilted moving blankets, secured with ratchet straps so nothing could shift in transit. Larger pieces got stretch film first, then blankets on top. Sofas wrapped corner to corner. Mirrors and glass items in bubble wrap, taped and secured. If it could get scratched, dented or knocked, we wrapped it first.

Three vans packed tight
With a full house to move, three vans were needed to get everything out in one run. Each van loaded methodically. Heavy items in first, furniture strapped to the walls, boxes stacked and secured, nothing left to rattle around on the road to Lancashire. Open the van door at the other end and everything is exactly where it was when the doors closed.

The garage clearance
The garage was the last job before the keys went back. Four of the team worked together to get a large wrapped item out through the garage door and loaded up. That’s the part of a move most people forget to factor in until the van is already half full. We didn’t.

Out on time
The team worked hard from start to finish and the customer was out with time to spare. Good enough that they treated the lads to lunch, which went down very well.
That’s what move day should feel like.
