Most house moves have their tricky items. A heavy wardrobe, an awkward sofa, a piece of furniture that only just fits through the door. This Cheshire move had all the usual challenges and then some. A windsurfer board and a pair of Pinarello bikes aren’t things you can just roll up in a blanket and hope for the best.
The team treated every item as if it were their own. That’s not something we say for the sake of it.
The Pinarello bikes
Pinarello build some of the best road bikes in the world. The red and white model in this move had Campagnolo wheels. These are not bikes you want to see arrive with a scratch on the frame or a bent derailleur. Each bike was handled individually, padded carefully and loaded so nothing could shift or make contact with anything else in the van. No contact, no damage, no drama.

The windsurfer
A windsurfer board is long, awkward and not designed to fit neatly into a removal van. It needs space planned around it and proper padding so the hull doesn’t pick up any marks in transit. The team got it onto the tailgate, positioned it carefully inside the van and made sure everything loaded around it was secured so nothing could move into it on the road.

The rest of the move
Beyond the headline items it was a full house clearance. White goods, furniture wrapped in moving blankets, the lot. Everything loaded methodically and secured before the van doors closed.

Into the new home
At the destination, a characterful stone-built property, everything came off the van and went in carefully. The bikes, the windsurfer, the white goods, all placed exactly where the customer needed them.
